DigitalTree is currently seeking a talented and motivated Market Research Analyst for a Full-Time position.

Job Summary:

The Market Research Analyst reviews and identifies opportunities using BD tools. Works with the BD team to categorize, distribute and gather inputs for the opportunities and keep all the artifacts up to date in BD Tool/SharePoint.

Essential Functions:

Forecast and track sales trends; Generate qualified new business leads, make presentations; Conduct detailed market segmentation research which entails primary as well as secondary research for our products and services.      

  • To communicate the progress to senior management through burndown charts.
  • Graphical representation of work left to do versus time is always most convenient as well simple way of predicting when all of the work will be completed.
  • Discussing with seniors and leads to make progress in our daily works and to ensure on-time delivery of products.
  • Prepare the burndown chart to track objects completion versus time elapsed.

Research and formulate target market segment strategies by collecting and analyzing data on customer demographics, preferences and buying habits to identify market factors affecting demand.

  • Identification & mitigation of team risks Blocking issues, critical defects on daily basis.
  • Provide strategic input into risk management and risk minimization approaches.
  • Ensuring that project is on budget & on schedule by measuring CPI & SPI.  Also make relevant documentation at every stage of development or research to estimate future costs till the product is released into market.
  • Monitor & report Story point assignment, Risk Register, Impediments, defects & sprint closure to relevant stakeholders.

Responsible for effective marketing strategy and communications plan to build brand awareness and market visibility.

  • To monitor the quality of mentored team through the management process.
  • Organizing meetings to discuss about individual as well team performance in concerned project
  • Taking steps for giving appraisals and also encouraging ways which will motivate team to finish up the project with good results.

Marketing strategy will include web and social media-based marketing, conferences, job fairs and networking.

  • To develop cost estimate with the product owner to do budget estimation.
  • To bring into product owner notice to specify a Definition of Ready (DOR), and Definition of Done (DOD).
  • Prioritize product backlogs as per capacity of the team.

Monitor and identify information sources and data to identify potential opportunities and present research findings clearly and concisely.

  • To analyze cost estimates & priority.

Provide research expertise to support the Company’s practice areas and business development efforts, including research related to markets, industries, and competitors.                                                                                                                         

  • Implementing new ways in managing our project
  • As an Analyst, need to set timelines for project delivery based on Customer’s requirement.
  • Set realistic goals for each Team Meeting based on teams’ capacity as well their efficiency in finishing the goals on time.
  • Design & finalize the inputs & outputs of each discussion held.

Retrieve, analyze, and present information in response to requests from strategic thinking, creativity, and technological expertise in the Company.

Education / Experience Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Science or Statistics is required.
  • Eight to Ten years of experience in the Market Research field is required.

Knowledge / Skills

  • Solid presentation skills to provide findings to senior management is required. Excellent at presenting data and providing recommendations supported by the data. Possesses excellent communication and presentation skills, strong Project Management skills, strong visionary and analytical skills.
  • Experience applying qualitative and quantitative research methods. Working knowledge of market research fundamentals and processes is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft® Suite is required. Knowledge and skill of survey tools and WebFocus tools.
  • Working knowledge of Survey tools, Analysis tools, and Market Simulation tools a plus

  • Identify training and development needs within an organization through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and human resources departments
  •  Design and expand training and development programs based on the needs of the organization and the individual.
  • Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, course materials and presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos.
  • Consider the costs of planned programs and keep within budgets as assessing the return on investment of any training or development program is becoming increasingly important
  • Manage the delivery of training and development programs and, in a more senior role, devise a training strategy for the organization

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • MA/MS + 8 years recent specialized experience, BA/BS + 10 years recent specialized experience. Degree or courses in training, and development preferred.
  • Experience implementing and overseeing Training in Waterfall/AGILE and hybrid environments while coordinating with client’s release processes and schedules.
  • Experience providing training and development technical leadership and cross-training to peers.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of principles and practices of training and development methods and techniques.
  • Considerable knowledge in methods to identify training needs, reporting, and evaluating results of needs assessments, and analyzing performance problems.
  • Considerable ability to identify training needs and plan, organize and coordinate training programs to meet those needs.
  • Some ability to apply basic evaluation techniques.
  • Considerable ability to work effectively with individuals, groups, and various units within the organization, including management, to carry out goals of the training function.
  • Ability to prepare both routine and analytical reports.
  • Ability to exercise judgment, make decisions, establish professional contacts, and organize time with minimal supervision.

Introduction

We are looking for a Cloud Data Engineer to join our growing team of data professionals. The hire will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data pipeline architecture and optimizing data flow and collection for cross-functional teams. The Cloud Data Engineer will support our software developers, database architects, data analysts, and data scientists on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects. The right candidate will be optimizing or even redesigning our company’s data architecture to support our next generation products and data initiatives.

This position requires the skill to:

  • Develop, construct, test and maintain ETL/ELT architectures.
  • Work with Architects to ensure development work aligns with business requirements.
  • Data acquisition and ingestion for data at rest or streaming data.
  • Develop data set processes and also use programming languages and tools.
  • Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality.
  • Conduct research for industry and business questions.
  • Use large data sets to address business issues.
  • Possibly deploy sophisticated analytics programs, machine learning and statistical methods.

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Experience with implementing cloud data warehouses – Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Azure SQL Data Warehouse or Google Big Query experience considered.
  • Experience with building data pipelines – using Azure Data Factory, Matillion, DBT, Python & Spark.
  • Candidates must have direct work experience developing and deploying at least one project where they implemented the entire cloud data pipeline.
  • Strong understanding of SQL (2-4 years).
  • Experience developing with Python (2-3 Years).
  • Experience with DevOps i.e. (Git +CI/CD).
  • Experience with Docker containers, including containerizing services and deploying containers in a cloud environment knowledge of the following would be an asset.
  • Must be an excellent communicator in terms of status and raising issues that might impact projects to either project or account management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of working autonomously with minimal oversight.
  • Willing to raise issues to Hashmap or Client Management as required and clearly define the issues and potential solutions.
  • Capable of adapting written processes when required and capturing improvements to the process for later review.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education:  A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in computer science, MIS or a related field.

  • Experience: 3-4 years of relevant work experience.
